Following on from a number of successful releases and remixes, two members of the breakbeat outfit “Frakah” have also decided to pursue their own lifelong personal interests in dance music. Steve Ford & Dave Hogg met when the Frakah collective came together way back in 2005. Despite the Frakah boys getting busy in the studio with their mix of raucous breaks and electronic house, Dave & Steve quickly learned they shared the same interest in their ever present passion for trance music. On the back of this, when not plodding on with the heavy Frakah schedule, Dave & Steve managed to book some free hours in at the studio and instantly began constructing the blueprint for their new trance alias “Lahroiya.”

After some long nights grafting in the studio they managed to conjure a number of new tracks, which were quickly posted around their friends in the music industry. Whilst receiving DJ and radio support from across Europe, within three months Lahroiya’s new batch of musical gems had received offers for a total of ten record deals from all corners of the globe. Then after some head scratching and some heavy decision making, Lahroiya decided to accept the offer from the ever-strengthening Actuate Recordings.

Lahroiya will be releasing a number of their own tracks, as well as remixes for other artists over the course of the year. Keep your ears peeled and your eyes open for updates on forthcoming releases and gig dates.
